About Senator Hudak

Before being elected to the State Senate in 2008, Senator Evie Hudak (Wesminster/Arvada) was elected twice to the State Board of Education, representing the 2nd Congressional District.  Her involvement in the Democratic Party has been extensive for the last 20 years; she has served the party in numerous ways and has worked on ballot issue campaigns. Because of her background as an educator for over 20 years, much of her time has been spent in education-related activities. She served on the PTAs and accountability committees at each of her daughter's schools. Senator Hudak currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Senate Education committee and is a member of the Judiciary and Finance Committees.
