Senator Aguilar named as a “Best Doctor”Assistant Senate Majority Leader honored by her physician peers
The Best Doctors program is focused on helping patients avoid misdiagnoses by selecting highly qualified physicians for their health care needs. Prospective patients contact Best Doctors and provide them with information such as health history and details about their medical condition, then Best Doctors will search its network of doctors and refer several top choices of physicians to the patient. About 30 million people in 40 nations have used Best Doctors. “This is a great honor, especially knowing that I’ve been selected by my peers in the medical profession,” said Aguilar. “I have worked for decades in the pursuit of acquiring skills and knowledge, going back to my days in medical school. I would have done the work whether I received special recognition or not, but it’s always nice to earn it.” Senator Aguilar was recently named Chair of the Senate Health and Human Services Committee. She earned her medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She has worked for more than two decades with the Denver Health Westside Family Health Center, and also recently became a member of the Board of Directors for Denver Health. | Search |
