What is your dream job and why?: “I have two dream jobs.  They are to be a teacher and a fashion designer.  I would like to be a teacher because I want to help students.  I can help students decide on getting a career.  I like to help my friends and I would like to get an opportunity to help in different ways.  I also want to be a fashion designer because in my mind I am always picturing all kinds of clothing that I can design. I also want to be a fashion designer because I like to draw in my notebook.  I draw dresses that I imagine in my mind.  I also imagine the color of them.”

 Who is your personal hero? This can be anyone who inspires you!: “My personal hero is my teacher, Mrs. Estrada.   She is my personal hero because I want to grow up and be just like her.  I want to be like her because she is intelligent and she helps me and my classmates every day.   For example, when my classmates and I don’t understand something, she explains it until we all understand.  I want to have the same quality.  She makes learning really fun and she tells me about her experience in 5th grade and it gives me an idea to tell my students about things in the past.”

What is your favorite part of being a girl? “My favorite part about being a girl is being able to choose what to wear.  For example, when I was a little girl, I would dress as a princess and pretend I was one.  I always asked my mom and dad for every single item I saw in the store about princesses.  I use to pretend I was the Little Mermaid, Ariel, and I would sing and dance all day long.”

If you could change the world, what would you do? “If I could change the world, I would stop wars so people wouldn’t have to die.  I would help poor people by raising money and supplies. At my school we are donating to a program called “pennies for peace” to benefit children that normally do not have learning supplies such as pencils and notebooks.  Finally, I would like for the world to recycle more to make sure our environment is not contaminated.”
