Press RoomColorado Women’s Caucus Celebrates Women’s History Month with Daily EventsThe Colorado Legislative Women’s Caucus will celebrate Women's History Month by featuring a past women legislator each day in March. The Women’s Caucus will honor 115 years of women in the legislature by speaking about a women each day on the floor of the House and Senate and through new media such as e-newsletters and Facebook posts. On March 24, the Caucus will host a reception at the Governor’s Residence. Women who have served in the state house and senate in the past will be invited to join current women legislators in a reunion celebration. The Colorado Legislative Women’s Caucus was formed in 2009 in recognition of the increasing number of women serving in the legislature.
