In the wake of the fires, Governor John Hickenlooper issued an executive order on June 14, 2012 banning fireworks and other open burning in the state of Colorado.  The executive order remains in effect until the Governor chooses to rescind it. 

We hope you have a nice summer, but a cautious one.  By acting responsibly, we can do our part to prevent more fires.
