SEN. HODGE’S BILL TO PROTECT MANUFACTURED HOMES SIGNED INTO LAW

DENVER--  Senator Mary Hodge’s (D-Brighton) SB 40 was signed into law today.  This bill modifies the requirements for documents related to manufactured or mobile homes. 

“This bill is a testament to a lot of the hard work from the clerks, treasurer and main housing community to find a way to ensure that the titles to manufactured housing are retrievable,” said Sen. Hodge.  “I wanted to make sure that the titles were attached to the homes and not to the property or foundation.  This bill will truly protect the home-owners.”

Rep. John Soper was the House sponsor of SB 40.
